Euphorbia celastroides var. tomentella es (fue) una de las variedades reconocidas de una especie extendida y variable. Solo se conocían ejemplares de Oahu.
Pilosidad: Glabra.
Origen y hábitat
Islas Hawái, endémica de la isla de Oahu.
Hábitat y ecología: Euphorbia celastroides var. tomentella es una planta de playa. No se ha recolectado desde la década de 1840. No se ha encontrado en las últimas décadas y actualmente se presume extinta.
