Origen y hábitat
Suroeste de Madagascar: a 50 km al noroeste de Tuléar, camino del valle del Fiherenana (zona de Anjamala). Conocida solo por un ejemplar, que nunca se ha vuelto a recolectar.
Hábitat: Bosque caducifolio. Está muy amenazada por las actividades humanas, la degradación del hábitat y los incendios. También tiene cierto interés hortícola.
