Description
This cultivar only varies from the standard AS-CAP hybrids for lacking or mostly lacking white flecks, giving a bright green, blue-green, gray-green or mauve-green color overall depending on clones. This cultivar is obtained by controlled pollination of two pure green parents (♂ Astrophytum asterias f. nudum x ♀ Astrophytum capricorne nudum). The superb feature of some of these hybrids is due to the intersection between the traits of the ancestors. Many of them have inherited by A. asterias areoles without spines or with very short spines. The large yellow and red throated flowers are also very beautiful.

Cultivation and Propagation
It is relatively easy to grow. It is sometime seen as a grafted plant but grows very well on its own roots too. Use mineral, well permeable substratum with little organic matter (peat, humus). Water sparingly from March until October, and keep perfectly dry in winter, at temperatures from 5 to 15 degrees centigrade. (but it is Hardy to -7°C for short periods). In the rest period no high atmospheric humidity!! Sun Exposure: Light shade to full sun.
Propagation: Almost exclusively by seed. Plants are sometimes grafted onto column-shaped cacti.
