Description
Peperomia dolabriformis var. grandis is similar to the type variety, but is generally bigger, glaucous green with clearly petioled leaves and prominent lateral nerves.

Peru (Western South America, Southern America)
Type Locality: Dept. Amazonas, Prov. Chachapoyas, Dist. Balsas, Cerros Calla Calla, west slopes, gorge of the river Marañón, road from Cajamarca to Balsas, km 346, bottom of grade, ca. 7 km E of Balsas, 1170 m.
